A number of people in the community are keen to reach out and assist others where possible within the context of the COVID-19 virus. As the Village Shop team have a current and active website, we thought it made sense to use that platform to help, if we can.

We’ve set this page up in order to provide a simple resource that collects the various community efforts together – things like the village prescription service, how to get help with shopping and home-schooling resource links.

If you need help with…

  • Picking up & delivery of your shopping
  • Delivering food from local cafes
  • Picking up & delivery of medication or prescriptions
  • Posting mail
  • A friendly call for a chat
  • Dog walking
  • A host of other things…

Then please click here to email us

Please include your name and telephone number when you email. You will be added to a contact list and provided with a list of people who can help.

The prescription service will continue to run as it has up to now, albeit with new volunteers assisting, to allow those over 70 years old to stay home and with strict social distancing procedures to protect all.

You can arrange with Bottreaux surgery to pick up prescriptions from Crackington Snooker Club between 1-3pm Mondays, Wednesday & Fridays.

If you are the high risk category and need to stay at home, then please call the surgery to arrange home delivery, or if your prescription is usually sent to the Crackington Prescription Service, contact them via their telephone number during their opening times, 07932 003 126.
